American Music Hall. The “I hear America Singing” show was performed here. I knew a kid whose older brother was on the “blue” team of performers.
I am trying to remember the story about the discovery of this carousel. I think it was found in a bunch of barrels in a wharehouse in Europe.
I don’t think these guys lasted long. Three or four years, maybe.
The Flume Zoom. The first ride after you entered the park and veered left.
Folk Music Theater. Don’t remember doing much in here
For a while, the area where the Screamin’ Delta Demon was contained animals too see.
New Orleans Street.
I used to hang around the magic shop just behind this building.
Plaza Area. This is the bridge that separated the Opry House area from the park.
When there was a performance at the house, turnstiles would go up to keep the two crowds
Sky Ride and Timber Topper.
Tin Lizzies. Boy, I was a big-shot when I got to “drive”.
